A workshop devoted to ‘bad astrology,’ assuming that the hardest, “worst” parts of your chart is where you are the most interesting, creative and funny. Each participant will be assigned to the most challenging planet in their chart to make work from. We will openly discuss our birth charts and discover fun ways to use difficult aspects, debilitated planets or run-ins with malefics as a source of poetry, comedy and craft. We will play as a group and also respond to individual creative prompts. The aim is to learn astrology and find novel ways to enhance a more solid, balanced sense of ourselves. This workshop embraces the parts of astrology that are often feared, unwanted or pushed away - seeing them instead as a valuable resource for creative expression.
